This policy explains what personal data Ege Transfer collects through transferege.com, why we collect it and how we use it. The site has no user accounts and takes no online payments, so card details, passwords and identity documents are never requested or stored at any stage.
Data we collect
We collect only what you send us and what we need in order to provide the service:
- Booking form
- Your name, phone number, route (pickup and drop-off points), date and time, passenger and luggage count, vehicle class, flight number if given, and any free-text notes.
- WhatsApp conversation
- Whatever you share when messaging us on WhatsApp. That conversation takes place on WhatsApp (Meta) infrastructure and is subject to Meta's own privacy terms.
- Usage data
- If you consent, anonymous or pseudonymous measurement data such as pages visited, device and browser type, and how you reached the site. If you decline, none of this is collected.
What we deliberately do not collect: card or bank details, national ID or passport numbers, or passwords. If you encounter a page or message asking for these in our name, it is not ours — please tell us.
Why we process it
- To assess your booking request and confirm price and availability
- To plan the transfer and assign a driver and vehicle
- To track your flight via the flight number and shift the pickup time if needed
- To contact you before and after the journey
- To meet statutory record-keeping obligations (invoices and accounting)
- If you consent, to measure site and advertising performance
We do not sell your data to third parties for advertising and we do not add you to marketing lists. We do not send promotional messages without your consent.
Legal basis
We process booking data to enter into and perform a service contract at your request. Accounting and invoice records are kept to meet legal obligations. Measurement and advertising cookies are used only on the basis of your explicit consent; declining consent does not affect your ability to use the service in any way.
Who we share it with
- Resend (email infrastructure)
- Requests from the booking form reach us as email, delivered through Resend's infrastructure.
- Google (measurement and advertising)
- Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads are activated only if you have given cookie consent. If you decline, no data is sent to these services.
- Service partners
- The minimum information needed to perform the transfer (name, phone, route, time) is shared with the assigned driver. For helicopter arrangements, the relevant details are shared with the licensed operator.
- Authorities
- Where there is a lawful request, with competent authorities to the extent required by applicable law.
Retention
Booking correspondence is kept for a reasonable period after the service, to handle any claims or disputes, and is then deleted or anonymised. Invoice and accounting records are kept for the period required by law (as a rule 10 years under Turkish legislation). If you have consented, measurement data is retained according to the relevant service's retention policy.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to request its correction or deletion, to request restriction of processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. For the full list of rights and how to apply, see our data protection notice.
